In our year long program, first we focus on supporting young adults in finding their dreams. We focus on exposure to careers, finding your passion, telling your story and defining your short and long-term goals. Then, we get young adults to those goals. At the end of the program, we place young adults in careers in high-demand fields.
Core components of the program:
The first phase of programming is focused on self-exploration and exposure to career options.
Knowing yourself, your story and your strengths and challenges is critical to long-term success. We elevate the voices of our young adults and empower them to be in control of their lives.
We then partner to set goals and develop plans to reach their goals.
Training and Credential
We partner with post-secondary institutions to get young adults credentialed in high-demand fields.
Our Career Success Coaches are the backbone of our program, and provide intensive support weekly for one year. Coaches have small cohorts of young adults and provide training and development over the year.
Structure of the Program
The program consists of a two-month intensive, followed by enrollment in a post-secondary school (Moore Tech, SWTCC, Tech 901 and ASU Mid-South). During the school experience, young adults are enrolled in internships or apprenticeships. The program ends with placement in a high demand field. The program lasts six months – one year depending on which pathways are chosen.
