Through an intensive yearlong program, we prepare young adults for postsecondary education and employment. Our holistic model incorporates intensive emotional support, including counseling, strong one-on-one mentor relationships, and accountability measures, so that our program participants are ready for life in the professional world and can confidently pursue their goals.
Core components of the program:
The first phase of programming is focused on self-exploration and exposure to career options.
Knowing yourself, your story and your strengths and challenges is critical to long-term success. We elevate the voices of our young adults and empower them to be in control of their lives.
We then partner to set goals and develop plans to reach their goals.
Training and Credential
We partner with post-secondary institutions to get young adults credentialed in high-demand fields.
Our Career Success Coaches are the backbone of our program, and provide intensive support weekly for one year. Coaches have small cohorts of young adults and provide training and development over the year.
Structure of the Program
The program consists of a two-month intensive, followed by enrollment in a post-secondary school (Moore Tech, Tech 901 and ASU Mid-South). During the school experience, young adults are enrolled in internships or apprenticeships. The program ends with placement in a high demand field. The program lasts six months – one year depending on which pathways are chosen.
